* Participants of the Young Geotechnical Conference (Brno, May 2010) are entitled for Student's Fee.

Conditions

Early registration fee will only be accepted if the Registration Form and payment are received by the Conference Secretariat by February 15, 2010 at the latest. 

Late registration fee will only be accepted if the Registration Form and payment are received by the Conference Secretariat by May 26, 2010. 

On-site registration will be available from May 27, 2010.

Please note that the registration procedure has 2 steps: first fill in your Personal data form then continue with Registration form, choose the fee, term of payment and finish the form. After submitting the filled form you will be provided with the Letter of Confirmation and the button for „online payment“ will be available. Kindly note that payment through the online system is only available after the Letter of Confirmation is issued. The Letter of Confirmation will be issued within 3 working days.

Please note that the on-line Registration Form is only accessible with a password. Simply fill in the Personal Data Form and the password will be sent to you. In case of difficulties during the registration process please contact the Conference Administration at decge2010@guarant.sk.

    If your completed Registration Form and payment or proof of payment is received by the Conference Secretariat by May 26, 2010, you will receive a written confirmation of your registration by e-mail. Registration Forms received after May 26, 2010 will not be processed and confirmed. After this date participants have to register on-site at the congress.

Please note that all bank charges must be fully covered by the participant. A copy of the bank transfer must be sent together with the Registration Form.

CREDIT CARD

For the payment by credit card (except American Express credit cards) kindly use the Online Payment System (available after login). Please note that payment through the online system is available only after the Letter of Confirmation is issued.

You can also use completed Credit Card Payment Authorization Form signed by a card holder. Kindly fax it to the fax number +420 284 001 448. You do not have to send this form in case you pay through the Online Payment system.

According to the Czech law, credit cards will be charged in local currency – Czech crowns (CZK) by using the exchange rate of the Czech National Bank on the date of payment. The approximate exchange rate is 1 EUR = 25,836 CZK (October 2009).

Cancellations and refunds

The Conference Secretariat must be notified in writing about the cancellation of registration by fax (+420 284 001 448) or e-mail. Telephone amendments will not be accepted. The appropriate refunds will be made after the Conference. The following cancellation conditions apply:

  • Cancellations received before March 1, 2010 - full refund of the registration fee (less 30 EUR handling fee)
  • Cancellations received by May 1, 2010 – 50% refund of the registration fee (less 30 EUR handling fee)
  • Cancellations received after May 1, 2009 - no refund

Name changes

If you should be prevented from attending, you will be given the opportunity to send a colleague instead of you. Conference Secretariat must be notified in writing about any name change. Handling fee of 30 EUR will be charged for each name change.

Invitation Letter for Visa documents

Please note we will issue the Letter of Invitation after receiving your payment for registration and accommodation. Handling fee is 100 €. Please fill in the authorization form and send it by fax (+420 284 001 448) or by e-mail (madova@guarant.sk). Department of Foreign Police of Slovak Republic will issue your Invitation Letter within 15 working days from the date of acceptance of your application.

Please note that your Embassy also requires some time to process your application for your Visa documents. Therefore we advise to apply for your Visa documents at least one month and a half prior to the beginning of the Conference.
